And the Cutest Boy Award Goes To...

We took Drew to Target to get his 3 year old pictures on Friday and he was so stinkin cute. Here's the proof!!

This was a completely different experience than last year when he would NOT smile! I think bribery had something to do with it!! A few days before we got pictures, I tried to prep Drew about what would happen. We even had him practice posing, which he is very good at! Then we told him if he was a good boy for the pictures, we would go to the play place at Carl's Jr. Ahh...I love bribery!
I can't believe my little boy is almost three. I LOVE seeing him grow and develop, but at the same time, it breaks my heart to see my baby slipping away. We are having a birthday party for him next Saturday, then let the hard-core potty training begin! He's been doing really well with it lately, thanks to the goody basket. (He gets to choose candy, cars, or underwear after he goes potty. He chose all of the cars first, then the candy, and can you guess what was last?)
Drew says some of the funniest one-liners. Here are some of them:

Drew came up to me one day after pooping and said, "Change my diaper, Roger copy?"

Dad: "If you keep them in your hands, they're going to melt." (Referring to chocolate chips.)
Drew: "My hands are gonna melt?"

Drew's evening plans: "We can make cookies, and take a bath, and watch American Idol, then go to bed."

Matt got home after a long, hard day at work. Drew came up and said, "Dad are you fwustwated (frustrated)?" Matt said, "A little bit." Drew smiled and said, "Dad, I can make you happy!!" (Isn't that the truth!! No matter how stinky of a day you're having, Drew always make you smile. We feel so lucky to be his mom and dad.)

After we had all of our Easter festivities (Easter bunny presents, coloring eggs, and Easter egg hunt), Drew looked at us and said, "I'm happy that God gave us the Easter Bunny!"

I think Drew is realizing we're a little different from other families with more than one child. He came up to me the other day and said, "I'm a big brother to Moseley." (Moseley is our dog!!)
